袁声军，男，1979年4月出生，武汉大学二级教授，物理科学与技术学院、人工智能学院双聘教授。2001年本科毕业于浙江大学物理系，2003年获德国锡根大学理论物理硕士学位，2008年获荷兰格罗宁根大学计算物理博士学位。曾在荷兰奈梅亨大学担任博士后研究员和终生轨道助理教授，2016年底起任武汉大学教授。曾获得荷兰物质基础研究基金、国家级青年人才计划和国家杰出青年科学基金。长期从事原创计算物理方法的探索与应用，发展了TBPM和DFPM等大尺度第一性原理计算新方法，模拟尺度较传统方法提升数个数量级，并应用于复杂量子系统和凝聚态体系研究。自主开发了多款计算物理软件，包括TBPLaS和ABPLaS。在Nature、Science、Nature Materials等国际期刊发表150余篇论文，其中包括70余篇Physical Review系列期刊论文。

Shengjun Yuan, born in April 1979, is a full professor at Wuhan University, jointly appointed by the School of Physics and Technology and the School of Artificial Intelligence. He received his B.Sc. in Physics from Zhejiang University in 2001, his M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Siegen, Germany, in 2003, and his Ph.D. in Computational Physics from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, in 2008. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher and tenure-track assistant professor at Radboud University Nijmegen before joining Wuhan University as a professor in 2016. He has been awarded the Dutch Foundation for Fundamental Research on Matter (FOM) grant, the National Young Talent Program, and the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. His research focuses on computational physics methods, where he developed large-scale first-principles approaches such as TBPM and DFPM, which improve simulation scales by several orders of magnitude, and applied them to studies of complex quantum and condensed matter systems. He has independently developed software packages including TBPLaS and ABPLaS. He has published over 150 papers in leading journals such as Nature, Science, and Nature Materials, including more than 70 in the Physical Review series.
